About Me

Hello. I'm David and I am a freelance public relations consultant and writer.

I work with clients in the UK, where I am from and until recently worked, and in Taiwan where I am now living in the beautiful city of Kaohsiung.

With experience working in London, a global hotbed of PR talent, and the reduced overheads of working in Kaohsiung, I can now offer clients the best of both worlds. A top class freelance service, at a rock-bottom price. I already have many very happy clients.

Don’t believe me? Then drop me a line for a quote, or my rate card. Or check out the rest of my site for more info.

But this page is here to tell you a little bit about me.

Away from work, I have recently become a father to a beautiful little girl called Molly. That’s Molly on the right of this page. She has just turned one and is filling our lives with joy as she learns to walk and talk.

I am also currently learning Mandarin, which is without doubt the single hardest thing I have ever done. I have never been a natural language learner but this really puts my efforts to learn French and German at school into the shade.

I have however mastered Taiwanese cuisine, which is one of the finest in the world, and Kaohsiung is without doubt the best place around to indulge. I have also enjoyed the opportunity to immerse myself in a total new culture here, which I have found much easier to come to terms with than the lingo!

My other interests are plentiful, but currently curtailed somewhat owing to work and child-care commitments, although I am currently researching a novel, and do also always try to keep a couple of hours free each week to watch Arsenal stumble towards another 4th place finish.

Life is pretty full, but there is always room for an interesting new client or project, so have a look around and if you like what you see, don’t hesitate to drop me a line.

By the way, if you haven't visited Kaohsiung before, here's an amazing timelapse video to whet your appetite (© Ben Zheng). There are plenty more pics on my blog too. And everyone is welcome to come pay us a visit too!
